TaJae - Yoga Instructor

I'm Tajae, a certified wellness coach, yoga instructor, and passionate mental health advocate. With a background of 5 years in psychology, yoga, personal training, and wellness coaching, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to prioritize their well-being. I founded Brown Body Wellness with the goal of providing accessible and personalized healing modalities that complement traditional approaches.

With my personal journey as a trauma survivor, I understand the importance of caring for our holistic well-being while seeking traditional therapy. I believe that true wellness encompasses mind, body, and soul. By exploring alternative methods, we can address the stored trauma in our bodies and promote overall well-being. Through personalized classes and transformative experiences, I guide and support my clients toward optimal health, mindfulness, and self-empowerment.

Sharon Hawley - Yoga Instructor

Sharon is certified and trained in the Iyengar yoga tradition.  Although she teaches yoga, Sharon identifies strongly as a lifelong student.  She has practiced yoga for 20 years. She trained with the Iyengar family in India and continues to study with them weekly via Zoom; she also continues study as with her mentor in San Francisco and teaches classes throughout the city at multiple venues.  Sharon views yoga as a discipline that prepares one for facing life’s vicissitudes: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  She has a dance and arts background (sharonhawleyart.com), as well as a history working in employment discrimination law and social justice reform.  She wishes to convey that she learns more from her students – and her children and pets! -- than from anyone else.
